Fall Crafts at Lyndhurst, now entering its fourth decade, ushers in the fall with the rose garden in bloom and the autumn leaves beginning to change along the majestic Hudson River. 300 artists fill the grounds of the Neo-Gothic Lyndhurst estate offering the first taste of fall shopping as well as exciting activities such as tours of the Lyndhurst mansion, live music, kid's activities, gourmet specialty foods and craft demonstrations.

It’s a great day for the entire family at one of America’s most beautiful landmarks.

Come on out to the 12th Annual Fall Fine Arts Festival on Saturday Sept. 9, 2016 from 10am – 4pm, rain or shine, on the Southbury Green at 775 Main Street South. Admission is free.

Over 50 artists selling one-of-a-kind photos, paintings, sculptures, handcrafted home goods, and art to wear will be present.

100% of the proceeds from this annual event are donated to the local community to help those in need.

Presented by Country Living Magazine, the event offers visitors the opportunity to fully experience the “Country Living” lifestyle and meet the editors of Country Living. More than 200 vendors will gather at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley.

This event features GREAT SHOPPING, including antiques, artisans, art, furniture, upcycled and handcrafted goods, home décor and more. Featured vendors include Adams Fairacre Farms, Earth Angels Studios, Beekman 1802 Mercantile,  Findings at Summerhouse, Gathered Comforts, Hudson Valley Seed Company, Rough and Tumble Vintage, Stash Style, and South Porch Antiques.

Additional features include Country Livings’s Kitchen and Main stages with cooking demos and presentations by the editors and their guests, plus live music, how-to’s, and artisan demonstrations throughout the fair.

Located in this festive, elegant setting, the market is a wonderful place to shop for all of your holiday needs, including jewelry; photography; fiber arts; soaps and skincare products; pottery; glass; clothing and knitted wear; accessories; home goods; wood; paper crafts; metal; and, a wide variety of delicious food items. Whether a Christmas gift, stocking stuffer or a hostess gift, you’ll find it at our market.

The market opens promptly at 10 a.m. with free parking throughout downtown and the Buckingham Parking Garage, just one half block from City Hall on Field Street. Throughout the day, the market will also feature live music and a variety of food trucks parked along Grand Street for a fun food experience. The market closes at 4 p.m.

Last year, the Market drew over 2,000 eager shoppers and this year it promises to be even bigger and better. So call your girlfriends or bring the family and join us to kick off the holiday shopping season.

The Junior Women’s Club of Litchfield Hills is hosting its 42nd Annual Gallery on the Green Arts & Crafts Show. Over 70 juried artisans and crafters will showcase and sell their artwork, including: Fine Art, Photography, Jewelry, Woodworking, Pottery, Folk Art, Furniture, Clothing, Glasswork, Quilting, Leather Goods…and more!

For the 43rd year, Gallery on the Green will be held on “race weekend” in historic Litchfield, CT. The combination of the Gallery on the Green and the world famous Litchfield Hills Road Race–which attracts many of the best runners in the world–has made the second weekend of June truly an event weekend! This weekend is just one of the many reasons that Litchfield is the second-most visited town in the State of Connecticut. Please come out to support the wonderful artists that make this event such a success. Remember that all proceeds from Gallery on the Green go to local charities and families in need.

The 30th annual Celebrate West Hartford will take place on the grounds of West Hartford Town Hall in 2016 on Saturday, June 4th from 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday, June 5th from Noon to 6 PM. 

Attracting over 35,000 people each year from the greater Hartford area, Celebrate West Hartford also provides festival attendees with a wide range of family activities – a highly rated juried arts & crafts show, great food, entertainment, games, carnival rides, and a certified 5K road race.  There is no admission charge for the event and many of the activities are free. 

Celebrate West Hartford garnered awards in the Best Local Annual Event category by Hartford Magazine for several years in a row.
